A Reliability Engineer from an energy company in the Gulf Coast reached out to us last week and asked, "We have a compressor seal oil that is entrained with propylene gas. There is no moisture but the propylene gas must be removed. Will a vacuum dehydrator system work for this application?"

Our technical expert contacted him in record time with a solution to his application issue. We explained how vacuum dehydration works and how it would correct the problem with their compressor seal oil. We have experience with using a Vacuum Dehydration Oil Purification System (VDOPS) to remove entrained gasses from a compressor seal oil system and venting them to a flare.
